3. From the Spring 07-08 BEDS, there were 34 founded and unfounded bullying and harassment reports.

4. From the Iowa Youth Survey, the percent of positive responses - 9 themes:

  • 61% secure and supportive family;
  • 70% safe and supportive school climate;
  • 70% safe and supportive community;
  • 87% healthy - avoidance of risky behavior;
  • 74% socially competent youth;
  • 67% youth successful in school;
  • 94% youth prepared for a productive adulthood;
  • 75% youth engaged in/contribute to community;
  • 41% bullying.
