I have been the Food Service Director in our district for 9 years and really enjoy the many challenges of my job. I love seeing the kids everyday- highlight of my day. Time flies in this job as we are always busy and there is never a dull moment. If I can ever be of service to you or your children please come and see me. Have a fantastic day. DeeAnn
This is my sixth year teaching Preschool in ACSD. I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa with a BA's in both Elementary and Early Childhood Education and minors in Special Education and Literacy. I just completed my Master's in Special Education at the University of Nebraska - Omaha.
I have worked in the Atlantic Community School District for 5 years, as a Para-Educator, in various capacities. Currently, I am assisting high school students in a new program called Student Support Services. This program allows students to sign out from a study hall for help with homework, organizational skills, and to stay current on their grades.
Goals of the program are to help students succeed and become learners, reduce D and F lists, reduce the at-risk students and drop out rate, connect with students, and establish relationships.
Please feel free to contact me if you feel your student could benefit from this program.
