I enjoy cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, as well as spending time with my friends and family.
This will be my first year with the Atlantic Community School District. In my last job I taught K-12 P.E & Health up in South Dakota for 3 years. I'm looking forward to teaching High School P.E & Health in your district. I have grown up with sports being a big part of my life. I now enjoy playing basketball, tennis, disc golf, racquetball, and other sports wheneven I get the chance. I am looking forward to helping students understand a variey of lifetime leisure activities that they will be able to play during high school and beyond once they graduate from Atlantic Community Schools. I'm looking forward to starting in a new school district and having a great year 1st year.

This is my 5th year here in Atlantic! I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade in the Atlantic Community School system. I absolutely loved helping my students strive to be life long learners. My husband, Kevin and I have three daughters Payton (21), Karsyn (17), and Ava (13). We live in Griswold, Iowa, where my husband farms with his family. I enjoy attending sporting events and spending time with friends and family! I'm looking forward to another amazing year!!!
I am employed part-time at Atlantic Middle School. Generally, my scheduled work days are Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. It works well to leave a message with the office if you are not able to reach me.
My background is school social work. I have enjoyed working in various districts in Southwest Iowa for almost 25 years. As a Student Advocate, I work with students to help them become more successful in school. A key part of that success is working with the parents as well.
