I am beginning my 13th year of teaching. I love watching children get that lighbulb in their eyes when they have learned something new and want to share their knowledge with everyone! I enjoy cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, and Northwest Missouri State Bearcats, as well as spending time with my friends and family.
This will be my 2nd year in the Atlantic Community School District. I'm looking forward to helping students understand rules, strategies, and knowledge of lifetime leisure games during P.E classes. That way they can go and play these games outside during their free time. During my Health classes I hope students can use the information that is taught to them to help them make lifestyle choices that will be important for living a healthy lifestyle during teenage years and beyond. As for me I have grown up with sports being a big part of my life which helped inspire me to become the P.E teacher I am today. I also enjoy going to movies and traveling to different areas during my summer breaks. With that I'm looking forward to starting my 2nd year here in Atlantic.
